A bit about Jules…

After completing her degree in tourism in Germany, Jules relocated to Ireland, where her tourism career included Business to Business Manager with Walks LLC and Sales & Operations Coordinator with City Wonders. In this capacity she developed close relationships with companies such as Booking.com, Expedia, Trip Advisor and many more.

2020 brought challenging times for Jules when the tourism sector crashed due to Covid restrictions and Jules was made redundant. But her passion for travel remained. It was a case of one door closing and another door opening … moving her family to Boyle Co Roscommon and founding Blissful Days with Jules when traveling became safer again.

Jules is a proud member of the LGBTQIA community, who has experience in booking holidays for those folks with varying gender, sexuality and relationship identities who need to ensure that their safety and enjoyment is paramount for every trip. She is an ally to trans and non- binary friends and hopes to see an improvement in the health care for that part of the LGBTQIA community.

Jules was recognised as Family Carer of the Year for the mid-western region in 2023 and has now additionally developed a speciality for holidays for families with additional needs. She loves taking care of her two sons and considers Roscommon as “home” for the family.
